The physical value of a brand
On the other day, I started thinking about where is the value of a brand materialized and why a different arrangement of symbols worth millions and others do not worth even cents.
Due to my interest in neuroscience, I started thinking about what kind of effect could be caused by a given brand compared to others and what happens in the brain.
Then it struck me: The value of a brand is in direct proportion of neuron wired to react to it in a beneficial way to the brand holder.
For example, this is why you can be happy and brand owner with 1000 “die-hard” fans, and 1.000.000 “I trust this brand and I buy it sometimes” fans as well. The whole thing comes down to the count of neuron firing because of your unique signal.
That’s all folks, let me know what do you think!
